The Sisters head to CRS in Nashville

The Sisters are excited to be attending the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Nashville this week.  The CRS event is a time for country radio executives to congregate and discuss the upcoming year of country music radio. Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn will be mingling with other new artists as well as seasoned country music acts.  On February 23rd, the Sisters will debut their first single “Crazy in Love”, nationwide.

“We hope to meet numerous country radio personalities in Nashville this week, and muster as much support as we can for our new single,” stated Jamie.  She went on to say, “We need your support as well, so find a country radio station near you and request Crazy in Love.”

You helped make our new album a reality!

November was a stressful month, not only were the Sisters getting ready for the holidays but they were also busy launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new studio album.  On December 2nd, their Kickstarter came to an end and with your help it was completely funded.  With the stress of running the campaign behind them, Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn set out to finish the tracks for their new studio album.

Now with all of the tracks completed and now entering the final mix down phase your job is not over yet.  The ladies still need your help!

Starting in late February, you need to call, text, tweet, email, etc. your local and regional radio stations and ask them to play “Crazy in Love” by the Joseph Sisters.  If you were unable to help with the campaign, here is your chance to help the Joseph Sisters spread their amazing music to everyone in the country music nation.

 The Joseph Sisters

Blending classic country sounds with a modern appeal and style, the Joseph Sisters plan to open the next chapter of country music. There was a time in country music when family bands dominated the airwaves and the girls next door were the best singing group in the county. Moving ahead to today, The Joseph Sisters plan to bring the family band back to the limelight.

When asked “Are you really sisters?” YES, Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn are sisters and all three agree that they are each others best friends.

Hailing from Wheeling, WV the home of WWVA and the Wheeling Jamboree, one of the longest running country music shows next to the Opry. The ladies grew up in a landscape full of blue-collar, hard working families where country music dominated the airwaves.

The Joseph Sisters have been singing together since before they can remember. Their initial performances were at church and school functions where Shalyn reminisces about standing on a box so that she could reach the microphone.

Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn’s distinctive timbres blend into vivacious harmonies, creating the perfect marriage of tradition and modern sound. The Joseph Sisters are best described with a Marie Osmond quote, “Little bit of Country, a little bit of Rock and Roll.” They have a rich harmony that only siblings can bring to the show.

Marybeth is the first born, she brings the artistry and smooth soulful voice to the group. She co-writes songs and works behind the scenes ever improving the group’s sound. She has a heart of gold and absolutely adores cats.

Jamie, the middle child, brings the high harmony and sings lead. She has the middle child attitude and her motto is you only live once. She is the leader on stage and commands the crowd. One day she hopes to own a farm where she can foster her love for animals.

Shalyn is the youngest Joseph. She is influenced by many different artists and styles. Shalyn is a huge Taylor Swift fan and truly admires Taylor’s business sense and style. Her quirky and brutally honest sense of humor keeps the band laughing and on their toes. Shalyn’s unique outlook on life helps her to find the good in any situation.

Their single “Crazy in Love” makes its radio debut in February 2016. “Crazy in Love” is a fun track about first love and the crazy things that you do to be together. A Chase Bryant (Take it on Back) co-write, this Steve Marcantonio (Maddie & Tae, Blake Shelton) recorded single delivers a fresh approach to female country music with an interchanging lead vocal and stacked harmonies. The Joseph Sisters are shifting country back to feel good times and love, and away from the saturation of “bro-country” and the party.

Their unique sound landed them a spot at the “Super Bowl of Country Music” Jamboree in the Hills and a chance to showcase their talent at Third and Lindsey in Nashville. The ladies are emerging as one of the fastest growing country groups in the mid-Atlantic region playing a countless number of fairs, festivals, and events. They have landed opening slots for Toby Keith, Jerrod Neimann, Aaron Lewis, Phill Vasser, Raelynn, Waterloo Revival, Josh Thompson, and The Oak Ridge Boys. The Joseph Sisters have also performed at West Virginia University BIG 12 sports events and at Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Join The Joseph Sisters as they attempt to turn the page back to a time when country was centered on family, friendship, tradition, and love. Stay tuned as Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn craft the next chapter of country music.
