The Sisters took a short break from performing in November to record a few holiday songs. Working with Blues Alley Records, Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn recorded two Christmas songs, Blue Christmas and O Holy Night. The Sisters and their band crafted a rockin’ bluesy version of Blue Christmas that features the guitar work of Marshall Lowry and the piano work of Davin Seamon. The holidays would not be complete without a beautiful Christmas ballad, after much debate the Sisters settled on a wonderful of arrangement of O Holy Night. This particular song was chosen not only for its beauty but to serve as a tribute to the late B.E. Taylor and his spectacular Christmas shows. The Sisters delightful harmonies soar over Davin Seamon’s enchanting piano work. Take a listen you will not be disappointed.
You can purchase Blue Christmas and O Holy Night at all digital music outlets. Kick off the holidays with Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn!

When asked “Are you really sisters?” YES, Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn are sisters and all three agree that they are each others best friends.
Hailing from Wheeling, WV the home of WWVA and the Wheeling Jamboree, one of the longest running country music shows next to the Opry. The ladies grew up in a landscape full of blue-collar, hard working families where country music dominated the airwaves.
The Joseph Sisters have been singing together since before they can remember. Their initial performances were at church and school functions where Shalyn reminisces about standing on a box so that she could reach the microphone.
Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn’s distinctive timbres blend into vivacious harmonies, creating the perfect marriage of tradition and modern sound. The Joseph Sisters are best described with a Marie Osmond quote, “Little bit of Country, a little bit of Rock and Roll.” They have a rich harmony that only siblings can bring to the show.
Marybeth is the first born, she brings the artistry and smooth soulful voice to the group. She co-writes songs and works behind the scenes ever improving the group’s sound. She has a heart of gold and absolutely adores cats.
Jamie, the middle child, brings the high harmony and sings lead. She has the middle child attitude and her motto is you only live once. She is the leader on stage and commands the crowd. One day she hopes to own a farm where she can foster her love for animals.
Shalyn is the youngest Joseph. She is influenced by many different artists and styles. Shalyn is a huge Taylor Swift fan and truly admires Taylor’s business sense and style. Her quirky and brutally honest sense of humor keeps the band laughing and on their toes. Shalyn’s unique outlook on life helps her to find the good in any situation.
Their single “Crazy in Love” makes its radio debut in February 2016. “Crazy in Love” is a fun track about first love and the crazy things that you do to be together. A Chase Bryant (Take it on Back) co-write, this Steve Marcantonio (Maddie & Tae, Blake Shelton) recorded single delivers a fresh approach to female country music with an interchanging lead vocal and stacked harmonies. The Joseph Sisters are shifting country back to feel good times and love, and away from the saturation of “bro-country” and the party.
Their unique sound landed them a spot at the “Super Bowl of Country Music” Jamboree in the Hills and a chance to showcase their talent at Third and Lindsey in Nashville. The ladies are emerging as one of the fastest growing country groups in the mid-Atlantic region playing a countless number of fairs, festivals, and events. They have landed opening slots for Toby Keith, Jerrod Neimann, Aaron Lewis, Phill Vasser, Raelynn, Waterloo Revival, Josh Thompson, and The Oak Ridge Boys. The Joseph Sisters have also performed at West Virginia University BIG 12 sports events and at Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Join The Joseph Sisters as they attempt to turn the page back to a time when country was centered on family, friendship, tradition, and love. Stay tuned as Marybeth, Jamie, and Shalyn craft the next chapter of country music.
